A Milker?

It has now been 2 days since the Berlin Heart was implanted in Baby Todd. Not much has changed in the 24 hours, which what was expected. We are still in rest mode. Todd did peek open his eyes a couple of times even though he is kept sedated. This was encouraging to us.
The Berlin Heart is an interesting machine that makes me feel at home. That may seem weird, but it sounds and looks kind of like a pulsating milker. Here is a video to prove my point (the sound didn't come through very well).



I had a great evening watching our girls in the Christmas program at our church. Thanks to friends who recorded the program and posted it for us to watch. We wish we could have been there. We are still hanging on and can't wait to be back home.

A milker already? Awesome what a fast learner! We are still praying for you guys everyday and several times a day. I don't know if an entire hour has gone by that we don't think of you guys! I'm glad you guys were able to get out a little on Saturday and take a breather for yourselves! Thanks for keeping us posted!

Wow! It's so nice that modern medical technology has finally caught up with what you farmers have known and have been doing for years! Ha Ha Ha. I'm so glad you were able to see video from last night. You probably saw it better than I did from the overflow room! We thought about you guys a lot. I think everyone did. The girls were precious! Hey Dusty and Jerri,
Uncle Lynn and I were on a cruise last week when your little guy came into this world. Your mom sent pictures and he is definitely a little Martin! He looks so healthy and I am so glad you were able to carry him to term. I have been praying for him before he came as soon as I heard of his issue and still believe in a miracle that God can give. He is "something special" and God does have a purpose for him being with us...he never make mistakes. His ways are higher than ours and he always works things for His purposes and our spiritural good. I believe Todd is here to teach us all lessons and He is using you to teach us the meaning of faith, rest, hope, longsuffering, trust. What a friend we have in Jesus! How do people do these trials without him is beyond me. Ephesians 3:20 "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine according to his power....to him be the glory!" God bless you with peace as we all trust in his healing power.
